Neurovation GmbH

„Neurovation“ is a made-up word of the terms „NEUROscience“ and „InnoVATION“. It signifies what we do: Supporting and fostering the creative thinking processes in the brain via web tools and an online platform.
Neurovation is a start-up company founded in 2007 after the successful completion of an interdisciplinary research project undertaken together with brain researchers, innovation and knowledge management experts, usability designers and web developers.

The web platform Neurovation (www.neurovation.net) including the web tools developed by Neurovation GmbH is a virtual creativity environment for supporting people in their creative process and in managing/storing their idea projects. User-generated content is a key element: There are tools available to get inspired, there is an idea lab with a drawing tool for visualising, describing and saving one’s ideas and there is a community area where users can participate in ideas competitions of various organisations. For organisations calling for ideas this platform is a new way for following the so called “open innovation” approach.
