With 1.8 billion users, 25 billion triples worth of data, 35 billion devices, and 4.8 billion global mobile cellularsubscriptions, innovators and business leaders are facing new challenges in exploiting the abundant opportunities brought forth with the emergence of the Future Internet.

Market analyst provide optimistic predictions regarding advanced mobile technology, search, and social media,yet are they really efficiently bringing these networks together? Making everything smarter? Easier to use? More intelligent?

The Future Internet session is an open brainstorming session that will bring together experts to discuss thenew challenges we face in exploiting large scales of data and services, users and devices. As part of the European Future Internet initiative, a roadmap is being charted that will address big future research challengesthat will have significant economic and societal impact for the next decade.

Panel experts will provide a short lightning talk. Panelist and attendees will have the opportunity to discuss what these challenges might be and influence future European and Austrian research to address those challenges and make the most ambitious enterprise visions of Future Internet into reality.
