Vice-President of the European Commission, Neelie Kroes, will launch the Future Internet PPP in Brussels on 3 May, 11:00-12:00. At this ceremony, Future Internet PPP activities will be presented to the public and the press, the Brussels policy making community and interested stakeholders.

The launch of the FI-PPP is a major milestone in the development of Europe's Internet of the Future. At this occasion the Vice-President will give a foundational speech on the importance of Europe taking action in the area of the Future Internet. Furthermore, representatives of the FI-PPP will explain their interest and involvement in the FI-PPP. Speakers include:

• Niels Højberg, Chief Executive Officer of the City of Aarhus
